What NOT to wear!

A COMICAL LOOK AT STYLING
Have you ever told someone directly that they were fat, flabby or had big boobs? If not, it’s probably best to leave it to the professionals and hosts of the UK hit-series What Not to Wear! Trinny and Susannah tell their contestants how it is, making the most of a pear shaped body, surfboard chest or thick thighs and get straight to the “styling” point… What not to wear and more importantly, what to wear to compliment your unique physique
Stylists everywhere will tell you that your body is an individual masterpiece, your own identity. The way you dress it really matters! Dress can alter the way you feel emotionally, suit your lifestyle and even increase your chances of getting the job you’ve always wanted. If you haven’t already noticed, Personal Stylists are all the rage and in an attempt to bring a little comedy to personal styling, Trinny and Susannah will be washed ashore on March 4
The BBC first broadcast What Not to Wear in the UK during 2001 and the show was such a smash that it featured over 5 series and was watched on television screens around the world! The face of the series were super-stylist duo Trinny and Susannah, who had written a fashion-column in a UK Newspaper for seven consecutive years and were renown for their fashion-(and very)forward approach to personal style!
In 2007, Westfield management contracted Trinny and Susannah to tour Australia (early 2008) and tell their anecdotes in front of live audiences. From the 4th to 9th of March, Trinny and Susannah will be blunt, honest and sometimes downright rude in an aim to change the way we Aussies dress in the morning! Supporting their trip Down Under, the Association of Image Consultants International (Australia) [AICI] will launch a new campaign to highlight the talented few who have been trained to mix texture with colour and silver metallic with Victorian frills
Personal Stylists, Image Professionals, Fashion Stylists, Fashion Forecasters…
AICI members are accredited, trained and mentored Image Consultants who can confidently advise on Appearance, Behavior and Communication and highlight their Clients best assets! Their Clients and contracts can differ from Commercial Photo Shoots, Studio Wardrobes, Fashion Forecasting for glossy magazines, Corporate Giants and everyday men and women who are looking for a transformation in the way they feel, look and shop!
During the month of March, the AICI asks Australian Press and Media to help dress Australia and highlight the Styling industry. If you believe you can assist with an editorial, Q&A profile, promotion or giveaway in your print or online magazine; promotion within your corporate or HR office; referrals for your Clients; or retail promotion… don’t delay!
